Overview

The Training Coordinator is responsible for several key operations within Axway’s Education Services team. Areas of focus include strategic internal and customer facing communication, business unit financial management, data analysis, logistics coordination, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is able to work in an ever-changing environment, manage multiple instructors, customers, and various internal stakeholders simultaneously, communicate clearly and effectively with global customers, partners and has an exceptional eye for detail.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Requirements:

 

Training Enrollment

Manage training enrollment process from needs identification through registration

Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify training gaps in the field

Support resource prioritization and planning, while coordinating with Axway’s Resource Management Office

Support Service Line Directors, Project Managers and Sales Account Executives with online registration 

Manage our online training portal (calendar, registrations, attendee data, etc.)

Communication

Work closely with managers and technicians in the field to promote and share the training program, the value of enablement, offer recommendations for more effective paths of knowledge transfer and assist with creation of on-demand/self-paced training

Manage internal financial training documents, including working to improve revenue generation and cost minimization

Weekly reporting on training progress

Support content development and localization 

Administrative

Management and communication of training calendar (course and instructor availability) 

General coordination to support Regional Trainers – Resource bookings, meeting scheduling, traveling, etc.

Review course survey data, draw conclusions and provide recommendations based on results

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the training team

Global Projects

Support key Learning & Development initiatives & strategies, particularly for the Service organization

Identify and communicate areas of improvement to increase impact, visibility, and efficiency

Assist instructors with the conversion of their F2F and virtual offerings to modular, on-demand-self paced classes

Marketing

When training programs are scheduled, training coordinators are responsible for marketing the available opportunities to Axway employees. This may include posting a schedule on the company's intranet, creating and posting flyers in common areas and appropriate departments, communicating with managers about the benefits of sending workers to classes, and using other promotional strategies.

 

Assessment

Responsible for assessing and reporting training effectiveness to upper management.  This includes determining and reporting the impact of training on employee skills as well as assessing how it affects key performance indicators and the bottom line itself.

Qualifications

Learning Management System (LMS) experience is a plus

Recent and comprehensive Training Coordination/Management experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Project coordination/management experience preferred

Proven ability to analyze information and provide recommendations based on results

Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, and execution focused

Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly

Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively on a global level
