    Axway is seeking an experienced, “challenger-minded”, high-energy sales professional for the FSI vertical in the Northeast Region. The position is a combination of business development, strong sales skills combined with an entrepreneurial attitude. The ideal candidate is a ‘go-getter’ who doesn’t wait for the status quo. Passionate about the digital transformation forces of the FSI market, the candidate relies on strong sales skills, organizational discipline and FSI knowledge sufficient to “talk-the-talk” with a business leader as well as an IT architect. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and experience in selling complex software solutions. The mission is to expand Axway’s foot-print within existing customers as well as winning new logos. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect, plan, qualify, develop, prove and close opportunities
    • Meets monthly and quarterly revenue and bookings commitments
    • Coordinates activities with clients and strategic partners to further establish Axway’s penetration within the existing customer base. 
    • Be the customer’s advocate
    • Establishes strong relationships with key executives at strategic accounts
    • Get access to power on the business and IT sides
    • Determines the sales approach to sell complex IT solutions
    • Creates and implements a Territory Development Plan

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 8 years direct software or application software sales experience in FSI with a strong digital experience –typically with API and analytic software
    • Proven track record of sales successes in a software company. The candidate’s profile should include more specifically “hunting” sales skills
    • Strong ability to create and execute complex sales strategies –knowledge of Solution Selling and Challenger sales model is a plus
    • Strong interpersonal communication (written and oral) and presentation skills are required. The candidate understands he/she is part of team who share the same goals and ambition;
    • Possessing an acute sense of urgency 
    • Intellectually curious
    • Knowledge and experience of the insurance market is a plus 
    • Traveling not an issue
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing required.  Advanced degree in business management or marketing desirable.
