    Axway is searching for an IT Vendor Purchasing Specialist who will cover our USA and Brazilian subsidiaries, but can also include some of our corporate global contracts and vendor relations (in partnership with your counterparts in EMEA). 


    • Handle procurement cycle of IT equipment software and services
    • Handle the administrative relationship with the vendors, the management of contracts
    • Budget Management financial tracking, global budgetary consolidation, and asset management (using established tools and practices)
    • Collaborate with the finance department of the company on IT purchases and assets (fixed asset management, invoices validation and reconciliation)
    • The participation in the improvement of the tools and processes in those areas
    • Administering purchase orders ensure proper documentation receipts of purchase, packing slips/invoices etc.
    • Placing of orders and ensure timely availability of supplies
    • Issuing, entering and maintaining databases of purchase orders
    • Accurately produce, create and manage a rolling forecast for procurement of top level products
    • Track/expedite shipments as needed per schedule
    • Works the back-order queue and expedite queue and keeps ship dates?
    • Works with vendors for updated information regarding shipments
    • Invoice and AP experience - reconciliation of monthly charges and budget management
    • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history
    • Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices
    • Safeguard Axway and Axway customer data through compliance with Axway policies and the appropriate use of Axway equipment and facilities


    • A least 2 years of professional experience, if possible in a similar context (international, multiple sites)
    • Excellent team working abilities (including remotely)
    • Excellent personal organization skills - Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented with strong conflict resolution techniques
    • Excellent written and verbalecommunication, interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Working Knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies, accounting and business contract law
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel formulas and pivot tables
    • BS/BA in business administration, liberal arts, computer science desirable or equivalent work experience
