    The AMPLIFY platform Program Manager works cross-functionally to drive the execution of platform development projects, ensuring that they release on-time and with high quality.  In this role you will be instrumental in synchronizing all the ‘Solutions, Products and Engineering’ (SPE) departments involved in the platform development, such as solution management, product management engineering, QA, ensuring the program is well executed and meets its objectives.

     

    Operating most effectively as a servant leader, you must have a solid grasp of how to scale Agile practices and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning a large development program.

     

    The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of the product life cycle and strong experience with the processes involved, including the development of user stories and the grooming and prioritization of a backlog constrained by finances, schedule dependencies, team dynamics, and customer demands.  You must have extensive experience in leading complex development teams in a multi-cultural environment. You must excel at taking goals, objectives, and outcomes and transforming them into an executable plan working with the various subject matter experts and team leaders.  The right person should be autonomous, goal-driven and passionate about diving into subjects to better understand the impacts and the risks, as well as being able to provide team mentoring (e.g. leaders, teams and Scrum masters) in various processes and mindsets. The AMPLIFY platform Program Manager escalates impediments, manages risk, helps ensure value delivery and drive relentless improvement (e.g. quality management system, continual improvement initiative).

     

    This position can work either from our office in Santa Clara or the corporate office in Phoenix, AZ. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple work streams, milestones, and project meetings for a cross-functional team consisting of TechOps, Product Management, Solution Management, Engineering and InfoSec.
    • Collaborate with the SMEs from the different departments to assess the impacts, define the deliverables and plan deliveries.
    • Summarize program objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency.
    • Assist tracking the execution of features and capabilities, the progress, issues and alerts.
    • Create an environment of mutual influence.
    • Help manage risks and dependencies (e.g. roadmap planning, engineering deliveries).
    • Ensure costs and schedule information are input into reports in a timely manner.
    • Support the solution/product managers and others Engineering Project Managers to ensure successful development in compliance with the scope of work, all requirements, all user stories.
    • Contribute to Quality Management System improvements.

    Qualifications

    • Strong experience and leadership in program management and risk management.
    • Experience developing and deploying complex, enterprise software solutions.
    • Experience managing a team of technologists through the full lifecycle of technical solution definition, design, development, deployment, and sustainment.
    • Experience working with cross-functional distributed teams.
    • Experience with software editor operations.
    • Experience with tools typically used by a software editor (Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Jive, etc.).
    • Familiar with software engineering and agile development approach.
    • Familiar with software deployment models (e.g. SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A degree may be replaced with 5-10 years of practical experience.
    • 10 years of relevant technology and technology management experience.
