Responsibilities

The successful candidate is a technical sales consultant who supports our clients, partners and prospects with technical expertise throughout the sales process.

The candidate is the technical advisor for customers and collaborates with the sales department, product management, marketing, services and support. The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant will also play an important role within the overall organization. The candidate will influence Axway’s strategy, offering and go-to-market approach.

The Pre-sales Consultant is a technical player in the sales team, responsible for eliciting and analyzing customer requirements and mapping those needs to Axway solution sets. The candidate needs to have strong presentation skills and be capable of demonstrating the proposed solutions to prospects. The right profile for his role should be that of an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect who has experience working for a vendor or a system integrator.

Your activities include:

• Engage with prospects and customers during the sales process to understand their goals and critical business issues and then to position how the company will aid in addressing these areas
• Provide technical demonstrations of the company’s capabilities to both group and individual audiences, customizing standard demos to address specific use cases
• Execute POC to prove the superiority of the company’s solution
• Handle presentations and interactive workshops at trade shows, conferences and forums
• Be a technical resource to sales representatives to determine solutions and answer to technical questions
• Design solutions based on the Axway product suite
• Lead and deliver technical Proof of Concepts and pilot projects
• Ensure proactive communication with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Partecipate to events as speaker
• Play webinars

We are looking for experts that meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a sales consultant/solution architect role for a software vendor, or an SI where working on positioning software solutions
• Experience working with API Management solutions and Service Integration or MFT solutions
• Understand the concept of business value selling
• Experience of On-premises, Cloud and Hybrid deployments along with and understanding of the drivers which influence a client to choose these models
• Experience in working with APIs and understanding different API types
• Candidate must be self-motivated, and detail minded
• Ability to articulate the value of technical capabilities to different audiences
• Willing to travel within Italy, to our European head office in Paris and occasionally to other locations in Europe and US
• Native Spanish speaker
• Fluent in English
