We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to join our team in the development of one of Axway’s strategic products.

The product you will be working on, is integrated in an accounting solution which has already been implemented by large banking and insurance companies across Europe.

You will have the opportunity join a team that has been part of the entire lifecycle of the product from conception phase, through development, customer implementation and maintenance.

• Contribute in all phases of application development lifecycle;

• Design and implement back-end features and business logic, as well as creating and modifying the UI;

• Collaborate with the product manager, product owner, software and quality Engineers;

• Prototype a possible solution when needed;

• Design and develop code and automated tests;

• Maintain existing code base (refactoring, bug fixing, analyzing and mitigating performance issues);

· 5+ years of related software development experience;

· Very good development experience in Java core

· Very good experience of web and enterprise application development

· Very good experience with basic JavaScript and single page application technology for large scale applications. (Angular/React preferably React js)

· experience in processing XML documents;

· knowledge of REST concepts;

· strong problem solving and debugging skills;

· enthusiastic and fast learner;

· Very good command of English, both written and spoke

Would be a plus:

· mastering of Spring Framework;

· Educated in Security basics (OWASP)

· experience in designing and implementing parsers;

· Devops skills: be able to test the product when required (in extraordinary circumstances);

· continuous integration and delivery skills;

· software craftsmanship;

· knowledge of application security;
