About the Cloud Engineering team
The Axway Cloud Engineering team is a group of subject matter experts within R&D that tightly collaborates with Product Development (R&D) and Cloud Operations teams to maintain infrastructure provisioning and management, end-to-end CI/CD code delivery, managing security and consult on any cloud and containerization topics. This involves strong technology background for Kubernetes on AWS and Azure, extensive usage of centralized source and configuration management and dedication to self-serve automation.

In this role you will be a part of the Automation group of Cloud Engineering, delivering solutions to both Cloud Operations and R&D teams across the company. You will be exposed to a full software delivery lifecycle process, involving tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, and a variety of AWS services. You will also have at your disposal a huge library of Terraform templates that our team has created throughout the years, covering a myriad of business cases.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build automation pipelines for our continuous deployment solution used by multiple teams,
• Document and handover robust automated solutions to our Cloud Operations team,
• Maintain uptime of the CI/CD service and respond to incidents promptly.

Ideally, you would have a mixture of the following:

• Administering Linux systems - on-prem and in the cloud (4+ years)
• AWS and/or Azure knowledge and experience (4+ years)
• Delivering and maintaining Gitlab pipelines (2+ years)
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform in AWS (2+ years)
• Experience using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

We value knowledge and experience even more than formal certificates. We know that having prepared and gone through a certification process is a great achievement on its own, but if you haven't, don't let this stop you from chiming in.
