Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

 

You will work with our strategic project leaders to fully automate the build, deployment, QA, and delivery onto containers, hypervisors, cloud, and physical devices. You, drawing from your strong engineering background with solid Linux systems experience, would be evangelizing and driving the DevOps best practices adoption across the R&D product teams. In addition, you will:

  • Provide technical leadership in the CI/CD domains using Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes;
  • Be an automation evangelist;
  • Provide development and operational support to R&D and Cloud Services organizations with regard to their containerization, orchestration, and automation efforts;
  • Have an intrinsic drive for learning. The rest (platforms, training, conferences, etc.) is on us.

Qualifications

Your qualifications

 

  • Experience with Linux distributions, RHEL/CentOS preferred;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in AWS deploying or administering cloud applications;
  • Minimum 1 year of involvement in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) related initiatives;
  • Programming experience in at least one programming language (we mainly use Python, when needed);
  • Excellent knowledge of configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe (France, the US, Eastern/Western Europe, etc.)

 

Nice to have

 

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as bash, groovy, python, etc.;
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Java build tools (Maven, GNU make);
  • Good understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, Interfaces, Routing);
  • AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator Certification.
