ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Consolidation Senior Manager to join our consolidation finance team within the Axway Group, a listed leading IT company. Reporting to the Senior Director, this role will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting across the Group entities.

The consolidator needs to produce consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS regulations, make this consolidated information reliable, reduce account closing times and produce quality information to meet all needs.

 

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • Produce consolidated financial statements in compliance with regulations
  • Collecting data and optimizing productivity
  • Contribute to making financial communication reliable and faster
  • Providing and following application of IFRS restatements into the local entities
  • Moving from analysis to steering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities or business units within the organization. This involves ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), and consistency across all reporting entities.
  • Reporting:  Contribute to preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders. Provide analysis and insights into financial performance and trends.
  • Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve consolidation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Implement best practices and automation tools where applicable.
  • Transactions: Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes to ensure proper elimination of intercompany balances and transactions in consolidated financial statements.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with accounting teams across different departments or locations to gather financial data, resolve discrepancies, streamline reporting processes, provide the IFRS restatements and validate the local reports under IFRS.
  • System Administration: Participate in the administration of SAP Financial Consolidation and other used consolidation tools.

Your qualifications

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis roles, preferably within the software industry or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP/IFRS), and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements, priorities, and organizational structures.
  • Experience in consolidation tools and reporting systems and strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines, as well as effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP and other IT Tools – software industry-specific accounting practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in both French and English is required – additional languages such as Spanish, German, or other European languages are advantageous.
