Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day Technical operational activities like implementing changes, resolving incidents, managing configurations, and administering applications for assigned customer projects
  • Securing SLA and availability for the applications
  • Act as Technical SME for the assigned project(s)
  • Manage client expectations and can ensure high satisfaction of the client
  • Collect New Requirements from customers as part of Cloud Operations and provide Solution Design using Axway MFT products
  • Provide expert advice to L2 team and make sure the new projects are being implemented as per the approved Design
  • Implement new configurations, flows/routes and Deployments when needed
  • Manage the lifecycle of all requests and incidents that arise, driving for root cause of problems to prevent incidents from recurring
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all the team’s tools and technologies
  • Conduct all technical activities as defined in Cloud Operations policies and procedures
  • Participate in after-hours support, on-call and implementation activities as required.
  • Participate as a member of the Customer Success Team undertaking complex assignments.
  • Collaborate with members of Axway teams as well as client-side resources
  • Install Axway B2Bi solution, MFT and other related technologies in Cluster, High Availability, DMZ, SSO.
  • Familiar with one of the different Hyperscalers (GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • Install Axway Sentinel solution and integrate with Axway B2Bi or MFT solution
  • Conduct deployment and optimization tasks across the full implementation life cycle including design, creation, orchestration, protecting, security, deployment, promotion, and monitoring
  • Analyze and execute product upgrades, service packs and patches.
  • Plan and executes Disaster Recovery activities.
  • Participates in SOCs audits with auditors and provide evidence.
  • Participate as a technical expert in a client engagement supporting Axway software
  • Perform systems tuning and diagnostics on UNIX, LINUX, and WINDOWS platforms
  • Implemented Inline Java programs and pre/post processing scripts in Axway B2B solution
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to provide after-hours support. This may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Safeguard Axway and Axway customer data through compliance with Axway policies and the appropriate use of Axway equipment and facilities.

Key Competencies

  • Must be an expert in LINUX/UNIX, Windows platforms, shell scripting and Computer Networks
  • Proficiency with B2B/Integration and MFT technologies
  • Implementation Knowledge of the Protocols - AS2, HTTP(S), FTP(S), SFTP
  • Knowledge of APIs (SOAP, XML, REST, JSON)
  • Knowledge of scripting (any language)
  • Basic Java knowledge
  • Experience with installing & configuring Integration applications
  • Familiarity with database systems (esp. Oracle) SQL development, and reporting tools
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to work well under pressure, and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration capabilities
  • Must be a motivated self-starter
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels, both orally and in writing

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree, or equivalent university degree, in Engineering or Computer Science is required 
  • Must have 6 years of technical experience in IT Integration projects using EDI/B2B and MFT solutions
  • Must have Prior Experience in Customer Interaction /Customer support
  • Experience in implementing and supporting solutions using Axway products (Secure Transport, B2Bi/Interchange, Sentinel and CFT) preferred
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred.
  • Experience in working with Ticketing tools like Service now, Splunk, Jira is preferred
  • Technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science and ITIL Foundation qualification preferred.
