We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. Key areas of focus include SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), advanced Firewall management, SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network), CSP (Cloud Service Provider) operations, and Reverse Proxy technology. The successful candidate will also have a good level of English proficiency to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

 

 

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

 

  • Network Architecture and Design:
    • Lead the design, deployment, and management of robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments.
    • Implement SASE solutions to enhance network security and optimize secure access.
    • Architect BGP configurations for high availability, optimal routing, and efficient traffic management.
  • Advanced Firewall and Security Management:
    • Lead the configuration and management of advanced firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet) and ensure compliance with security policies.
    • Implement and manage security measures, including IDS/IPS, to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • SD-WAN Implementation and Optimization:
    • Architect and manage SD-WAN solutions, ensuring seamless and secure connectivity across multiple locations.
    • Monitor SD-WAN performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations for best performance.
  • Cloud Service Provider Operations:
    • Design and manage network services within CSP environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring secure and efficient connectivity.
    • Integrate cloud networking solutions with on-premises infrastructure, optimizing for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Reverse Proxy Management:
    • Architect and manage reverse proxy solutions (e.g., NGINX, HAProxy) to optimize web traffic and enhance security.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot reverse proxy systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure all network designs and implementations adhere to security best practices.
    • Conduct regular network audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers, guiding them in best practices and professional development.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in complex network projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, architecture designs, and procedures.
    • Generate detailed reports on network performance, security incidents, and project outcomes for management.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive network improvements and innovations.
    • Propose and implement upgrades to network infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

 

Your qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP) are preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on SASE, BGP, Firewalling, SD-WAN, CSP operations, and Reverse Proxy technologies.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in configuring and managing SASE solutions.
    • Deep expertise in BGP and other routing protocols.
    • Extensive experience with advanced firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
    • Strong understanding of SD-WAN architecture and best practices.
    • Hands-on experience with network operations in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Expertise in managing and optimizing reverse proxy technologies (e.g., NGINX, HAProxy).
  • Language Skills:
    • Good level of English proficiency, both written and spoken, to effectively collaborate with global teams and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
    • Strong self-learning capabilities.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • Relevant reverse proxy certifications or experience
