Our SecureTransport team located in Sofia's R&D office is looking for a talented Technical Writer to join our team. If you are skilled writer with strong technical knowledge and excellent English, who can translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and well-structured documentation.

  • Solid IT literacy, with the ability to understand technical concepts
  • Expertise in information architecture and the minimalist design approach
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in applying a DevOps approach to content publishing – from source to customer
  • Adaptable, proactive, and a team player with a strong work ethic
  • Passionate about technology and innovations in technical documentation

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

 

  • Assess audience needs and plan relevant content deliverables
  • Create and maintain documentation for administrators and developers
  • Propose and proofread user-friendly UX copy
  • Gain product expertise through hands-on use and validation
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to ensure accuracy
  • Optimize tools and workflows for efficient content development

Qualifications

Your qualifications

 

  • Fluent in English 
  • At least two years of experience in content or technical writing, with knowledge of topic-based writing styles
  • Experience with web publishing and content management systems
  • Hands-on experience structuring content using XML, XHTML, and HTML
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in English, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field

 

Nice to have

 

  • Experience creating comprehensive technical documentation, such as Administrator Guides, Developer Guides, Installation Guides, etc.
  • Experience in video content creation
  • Experience with MadCap Flare
  • Knowledge of CSS for styling documentation
