We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Axway R&D Operations team. You will work as part of a team to investigate prototypes and optimize internal company processes, aiding the entire R&D organization globally to be more effective and productive. You will contribute to the develop, maintain, and operate various tools and frameworks used daily by the company. This includes but is not limited to commercial applications (Jira, Confluence, Artifactory), open-source products (Jenkins, GitLab), and in-house developed systems. Our team ensures an uninterrupted workflow that is continuously perfected and optimized. We are a diverse team consisting of developers, data scientists, system administrators, and DevOps engineers, all working together to achieve our common goals.

• Administering Linux distributions 
• Shell scripting 
• Maintaining Jira and/or Confluence at least on a project administration level, preferably on a system administration level 
• Managing Jenkins or other build systems 
• Handling Control Management systems such as GitLab, GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket, SVN. Bonus points for experience in migrating one of these systems to another. 

• Experience with Linux 
• Experience with Shell scripting 
• Experience with Jenkins 

• Common cloud knowledge (AWS) 
• Some experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Some database knowledge (MySQL or others) 
• Some programming experience
