We are seeking our new Cloud Ops Engineer to join the team!

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Ops Engineer to join our IS Operations team.
You will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and securing a diverse landscape of on-premises and cloud-based systems and applications — from integration servers to data platforms and business-critical tools — while ensuring compliance with our internal security standards.

Our company is currently in the middle of a large-scale merger project between Axway and SBS, a transformation that will continue over the next three years. This role is key to supporting the integration and consolidation of systems and data flows critical to this merger.

This is an operational role at the crossroads of classic system administration and modern cloud/DevOps practices, supporting data flows, application integrations, and enterprise systems in a highly dynamic context.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Workday integration systems.
  • Administer Snowflake data platform: users, roles, permissions, performance, and data security.
  • Write, review, and maintain SQL scripts for data management, integration validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and support modern data tools: Apache Airflow, Airbyte, and dbt Cloud.
  • Administer AWS services, including CloudWatch, ECS, S3, and SQS.
  • Administer and configure an API Gateway to manage and secure API traffic.
  • Administer Talend servers and manage integration workflows.
  • Administer and operate a secured FTP server (Windows or Linux-based), ensuring reliability and compliance.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments and related applications.
  • Install, configure, and administer SAP FC (Financial Consolidation) servers and applications.
  • Administer git repositories.
  • Monitor systems and applications using tools such as Centreon; proactively detect and resolve incidents.
  • Manage lifecycle of security certificates (installation, renewal, compliance).
  • Ensure systems comply with company security rules and best practices.
  • Contribute to the setup and regular testing of Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) for critical systems.
  • Document operational procedures, configurations, and system changes.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
  • Good SQL skills: ability to write and troubleshoot queries (Snowflake, SQL Server, or other RDBMS).
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services: CloudWatch, ECS, S3, SQS.
  • Experience with integration and data platforms (e.g., Talend, Airbyte, Airflow, dbt Cloud).
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake and SAP FC, understanding data flows and security.
  • Experience administering Windows Server and basic Linux environments.
  • Scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate routine tasks.
  • Understanding of API Gateways and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS).
  • Awareness of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and certificate management.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Centreon or similar) and incident management.
  • Knowledge of DRP planning and implementation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document clearly.
  • Professional proficiency in English

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Workday integration systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Basic networking knowledge (firewalls, proxies, VPNs).

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of an ambitious and exciting merger project that will shape our IT landscape for years to come.
  • Diverse scope: from Windows Servers and integration tools to AWS and modern data platforms.
  • Work closely with experienced teams on systems that are critical to the business.
  • Opportunity to grow skills across cloud, data, and security.
