We are seeking our new Business Systems Analyst to join the team!

We are seeking a talented and driven Business Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong blend of technical skills and business acumen who is passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, primarily focusing on our data warehousing, systems, and business intelligence initiatives.

• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their data and reporting needs, translating these into technical specifications.
• Business: Prepare cases, process maps, and user stories for IS initiatives.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Study, design and implement technical solutions that address business challenges.
• Data Governance: Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide support and troubleshooting for existing data solutions and reports.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, reports, and technical processes.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Enable business units to leverage data within a self-serve model.
• Data Warehousing: Work with our data engineers and analysts to manage and optimize data within Snowflake, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and performance.
• Training & Mentorship: Potentially assist in training end-users on Power BI and data literacy, and mentor junior team members.

• Business Acumen: Ability to understand business processes, identify key performance indicators, and translate them into data requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Snowflake: experience with Snowflake, including data loading, warehousing concepts, writing SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• Power BI: data visualization, dashboard creation, DAX formulas, and connecting to various data sources.
• SQL: skills for data manipulation, analysis, and query optimization.
• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
• Documentation: Skilled in requirement gathering, stakeholder interviews, and experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA) and models like C4.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar Business Technologist, Data Analyst, Data Science, or BI Developer role.
• Language: French nice to have, English mandatory.
• Profile: Curious, methodical, and comfortable in both technical and business discussions.
