We are seeking our new Product Designer to join the SBS team! We’re looking for a Product Designer to craft intuitive, accessible digital experiences for our web and mobile products. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA to turn complex workflows into elegant solutions, ensuring usability and consistency across our design system.

Responsibilities

· Design user-centred experiences for web and mobile applications, from concept to high-fidelity prototypes.

· Own Figma workflows: create and maintain design components, libraries, and tokens for scalable design systems.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to align designs with business goals and technical feasibility.

· Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback to improve user experience.

· Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.

· Document design decisions and present work in design reviews and stakeholder sessions.

Qualifications

· 3–5 years in UX/UI or Product Design roles.

· Expert-level proficiency in Figma (component libraries, auto-layout, prototyping).

· Strong understanding of responsive design and interaction patterns.

· Experience with usability testing and interpreting qualitative/quantitative feedback.

· Familiarity with Agile workflows and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).

Desirable

· Experience in financial services or regulated environments.

· Knowledge of design systems and accessibility standards.

· Basic motion design or UX writing skill

Don't meet every single requirement? That's okay, and you aren't alone! Research shows that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet all the criteria. At SBS, we're committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where everyone feels they belong. So if this role excites you and you're eager to grow, we'd love to hear from you - even if your experience doesn't tick every box just yet, send in your application!
