Join our team as our new Full-stack Web Developer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to expand their skills in web development within a dynamic environment. Reporting directly to our Director of Web Operations, you will be an integral member of the Axway Digital Marketing Team responsible for ensuring our website is in line with our overall business and marketing strategies. You will build a compelling user experience including creating new components for our sites, as well as the maintenance of existing experiences. We value fresh ideas, and the ideal candidate will not only excel in executing assigned tasks reliably but also contribute innovative suggestions for enhancing user experience and optimizing processes. This role is primarily a hands-on web development position, with strong focus on Drupal and WordPress platforms, working in close collaboration with Marketing teams.

• Location: Axway Romania, Bucharest, Calea Serban Voda, no.133, 4th District
• Employees work in a hybrid mode 2 days per week in the office

Development:

• Oversee and lead all maintenance and development efforts for Axway’s digital environments including the Axway website, blog, resource library and 74Software: 
  • Maintain, configure and troubleshoot both a Drupal and WordPress cloud environments
  • Conduct daily maintenance, cleanup, and troubleshooting of existing websites.
  • Assist in the creation of new website components and the enhancement of existing features.
  • Propose and implement technical improvements to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
• Make basic, routine security and enhancement updates;
• Develop custom integrations between websites and marketing automation platforms (specifically Marketo), using API, HTML, DHTML, PHP/Twig, JavaScript, MySQL, and other web technologies;
• Ensure the safeguarding of Axway and Axway customer data through compliance with Axway policies and the appropriate use of Axway equipment and facilities.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with web agencies and internal stakeholders on larger web initiatives including Ui/UX projects;
• Provide support through web ticketing systems;
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop and implement web-based projects;
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team, including global remote colleagues;

• Strong hands-on experience with Drupal and WordPress administration and maintenance, including:
  • daily content and configuration management,
  • maintenance and updates of Drupal modules and WordPress plugins,
  • troubleshooting, compatibility checks, and basic debugging in production environments.
• Strong full stack web development background, including:
  • Proficiency in front end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and NodeJS,
  • Strong background in back-end development using PHP/Twig, MySQL, and Git,
  • Strong experience in responsive front-end development, ensuring cross device and cross browser compatibility,
• Familiarity with web APIs
• Comprehensive understanding of web application development processes, from UI/layout to relational database structures.
• 3–5 years of experience in a web developer role, preferably in an agency or corporate environment.
• Experience working with Marketing or Communications teams, ideally within an Internet or high-tech company.
• Experience in marketing automation platforms, particularly Marketo.
• Abilify to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
