We are seeking our new Senior Requirements Analyst to join the team!

 

We are looking for a methodicalpragmatic, and collaborative Senior Requirements Analyst to join our IS Strategy & Architecture teamYou will be the connective tissue between business stakeholders and delivery teams, turning complex business needs into clear, testable, value‑driven requirements. This role suits someone who enjoys shaping “right‑sized” requirements for both major transformation programs and smaller, run‑phase enhancements, balancing thoroughness with speed to value. 

 

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Responsibilities

  • Discovery & Elicitation: Lead workshops, interviews, and observation sessions; synthesize inputs into unambiguous business/functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and non‑functional needs.
  • Process & Journey ModelingCollect and understand processes from Business teams.
  • Requirements Documentation: Author user stories and use cases with clear acceptance criteria.  
  • Backlog Partnership: Partner with Project Managers and Development team to prioritize value, clarify scope, slice work for iterative delivery, and prepare items for grooming and sprint planning. 
  • Testing SupportWith IS testing and business teams, align testable outcomes, support UAT scenario design, and ensure alignment between requirements and test coverage. 

 

Qualifications

  • Requirements Engineering Fundamentals: Deep knowledge of elicitation techniques, analysis frameworks, decomposition, and specification quality (clarity, consistency, testability).
  • Pragmatic, ValueFirst Mindset: Ability to “rightsize” analysis—neither overengineering nor underspecifying—based on risk, complexity, and delivery stage.
  • Process & Data Literacy: Strong ability to model processes and journeys and to articulate data needs and quality constraints.
  • Communication & Facilitation: Translate technical topics for nontechnical audiences and business needs for technical teams. Confident in workshops and decision facilitation.
  • Tools & Practices: Fluency with backlog/requirements tools (e.g : Jira), collaboration wikis (e.g : Confluence/SharePoint), modeling tools (e.g : Miro), and traceability practices. Comfort reading API specs and basic SQL is a plus.
  • Delivery Experience: 8+ years in Business/Requirements Analysis or Product/Process Analysis within complex, global environments that blend large programs with frequent smaller releases.
  • Language: English mandatory; French is a plus.
  • Profile: Rigorous, structured, curious; equally comfortable in detailed analysis and business‑oriented discussions; proactive about simplifying processes and reducing waste.
