We are seeking a motivated and strategic Social Media Specialist I to help build and scale our organic social media presence from the ground up. This is an entry-level role with meaningful ownership, ideal for someone who understands modern social media best practices and is excited to create structure, consistency, and measurable impact in a growing B2B software environment. 

You will be responsible for developing and executing a global, organic social media strategy that supports brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth across all product lines and key marketing initiatives. This role will work crossfunctionally with Field Marketing, Global Campaigns, Product Marketing, Customer Advocacy, and Paid Social to ensure social media efforts are aligned, integrated, and effective. 

 

Location: United States (Remote/Hybrid)
Remote/Hybrid: Depending on Candidate’s Location

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning 

  • Build and evolve an organic, global social media strategy across priority platforms (initially LinkedIn and Facebook), and evaluate additional platforms based on audience fit and business goals. 
  • Develop a scalable approach that supports: 
  • All product lines 
  • Global and regional marketing campaigns 
  • Customer success and advocacy initiatives 
  • Humaninterest and culture storytelling 
  • Employee engagement and social amplification 
  • Define content themes, posting cadence, and channel best practices for B2B audiences. 
  • Partner with Paid Social stakeholders to ensure organic and paid efforts are complementary and aligned. 
  • Use available AI tools to understand best practices and scale the program quickly. 

 

Content Creation & Publishing 

  • Write clear, engaging, and onbrand social media copy that aligns with B2B best practices and platformspecific guidelines. 
  • Recommend social tiles and associated imagery that amplify our brand and drive engagement. 
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar that balances campaigns, product messaging, employee stories, and timely industry content. 
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and subjectmatter experts to source or develop visual and multimedia content. 
  • Adapt messaging for global audiences while maintaining brand consistency. 

 

CrossFunctional Alignment 

  • Work closely with: 
  • Field Marketing to support regional initiatives and events 
  • Global Campaigns to amplify key launches and integrated programs 
  • Product Marketing to translate product value into socialfriendly messaging 
  • Customer Advocacy to highlight customer stories and proof points 
  • Paid Social to align messaging, timing, and targeting insights 
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for organic social media activities across teams. 

 

Measurement & Optimization 

  • Track and report on social media performance, including engagement, follower growth, traffic, and campaign support metrics. 
  • Use data and insights to refine content, test new approaches, and improve results tied to customer engagement and new business goals. 
  • Stay current on B2B social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices.

Qualifications

Required 

  • Strong understanding of B2B social media best practices, particularly on LinkedIn and Facebook. 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics. 
  • Basic understanding of how social media supports brand awareness, customer engagement, and demand generation. 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across marketing functions. 

 

Preferred 

  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout). 
  • Interest in global marketing and multiregion coordination.
